Fiction only; not veterinary advice

Warrior Cats herbs and their fictional uses

In Warrior Cats, medicine cats use plants and supplies to care for their Clans. The table summarises familiar fictional uses; it is not a treatment guide for pets and not a claim to list every herb in the series.

Evidence and limits

No fixed total such as 78 is presented. A community list can mix plants, supplies, poisons and different names for the same item. The official medicine-cat quiz offers a canon-themed activity, not evidence for a complete item inventory.

Selected fictional references

Story uses only. Do not gather, dose or feed plants based on fiction; the names here are not a safe plant-identification guide.

How to check a medicine reference

In the official author article The role of a medicine cat, Cherith Baldry describes learning herbs, maintaining stores and stopping bleeding with cobwebs. The other short entries here are familiar fictional references, not a complete list certified by that article.

Use the scene in the relevant novel for what a cat actually does. The community medicine reference collects many examples, but it is a secondary index, not a veterinary authority. A short herb table can omit context, side effects and differences between books.

Medicine cats also interpret omens and connect with StarClan. Their fictional role cannot establish that a plant is effective or safe for a real cat.

Books, browser activities and the RPG

The official site offers a medicine-cat knowledge quiz and lists Medicine Mission in its games directory. Those are separate from the items and crafting systems in Clans of the Forest.

No RPG herb locations, respawn times, drop rates or achievement routes have been verified for this page. A book remedy should not be turned into a game recipe without evidence from that game.

Questions people ask

Are cobwebs an herb?

No. They are a supply used in fictional treatment scenes; mixing supplies and plants is one reason herb counts vary.

Can I treat my pet using this list?

No. Do not use story remedies on an animal. Contact a veterinarian for an actual health concern.

How many Warrior Cats herbs are there?

This page does not claim an exhaustive fixed count. Define whether a list includes supplies, poisons and alternate names before counting it.
